Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Technical Superintendent role based in Dubai. The Technical Superintendent will oversee the technical management of the fleet, ensuring the safety and efficiency of vessel operations. Responsibilities include managing routine and emergency maintenance, overseeing vessel inspections, implementing compliance with maritime regulations, and optimizing overall ship performance. Collaboration with crew, monitoring budgets, and providing technical expertise will be integral to this role.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Ship Management and Maritime operations
• Experience in conducting thorough Inspection and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Proficiency in Marine Engineering and technical expertise in maintaining vessel systems
• Experience in Sailing or equivalent roles in the maritime industry
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proven track record of working in cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or related field is preferred
• Familiarity with sustainable practices in maritime operations is advantageous
