You will be accountable to grow the business of Furse Earthing & Lightning and electrical products business in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, based in Dammam.

Your role and responsibilities

The Installation Products division specializes in the manufacturing and selling of wire management solutions, cable protection, cable routing systems, wires termination and grounding systems. These products are relevant in several segments and mainly sold through a channel partners network.

In this role you will work to create demand, map opportunities and finalize orders for Earthing, Lightning Protection and Surge Protection systems working with consultants and engineering of customers within the selected verticals segment. You will also develop and nurture business relationships with channel partners, authorities and consultants helping them to succeed. You will also support the growth of our electrical products and solutions working with customers and partners.

You are professional skilled on electrical installation solutions and earthing & lightning protection system, able to build business relationships and to proactively support partners as well as internal and external customers. You will be able to interact with the relevant company resources in order to gather the relevant information needed to develop the business. You will develop and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service and technical knowledge of the customer needs.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Support sales team to build business relationships and proactively support partners and internal and external customers. Handling design and engineering activities related to Earthing, Lightning & Surge Protection system
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service and technical knowledge of the customer needs. Prepare and execute sales plans and bids.
  • Provide solutions according to customer requirements, complying with international standards and local regulations. Designs engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to specification. Attend technical meetings with customers and End-users for product approvals.
  • Collaborates with the sales team of the other ABB divisions in order to maximize the common business opportunities, furthermore you collaborate with the product marketing team to take into the market the right value proposition bringing back relevant market information. Keeps CRM and all relevant reporting updated and report back to the Marketing & Sales Manager.
  • Able to provide accurate Demand Order and Revenue forecasts. In depth knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM & Navisworks knowledge, reading and understanding architectural layouts, sections and elevations. Qualifications for the Role

  • More than 2 years of experience in basic electrical product lines preferably earthing & lightning protection system
  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach. Skills in reading & interpreting engineering drawings & specifications
  • Work cohesively with the team to maximize output. Passion for solutions and applications.
  • Electrical Engineering background.
  • Willingness to travel when needed. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Good organization skills. Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable using a CRM system. Good knowledge in Microsoft Office 365
  • Good command of English and strong communication.
