Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to provide both pre-sales and post-sales technical support for CAD, BIM, and related engineering software solutions.
The role involves working closely with customers to demonstrate technical capabilities, provide implementation support, and ensure the successful adoption of software solutions. The Technical Support Engineer will also collaborate with the technical teams of international suppliers to resolve complex issues and deliver high-quality support to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Support
- Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Provide technical consultation and answer customer inquiries regarding software capabilities.
- Assist the sales team in identifying suitable solutions for customer requirements.
- Coordinate with international supplier technical support teams to resolve technical questions during the sales process.
Post-Sales Support
- Install and configure CAD/BIM software solutions for customers.
- Provide end-user training and technical guidance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in collaboration with supplier support teams.
- Ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction after deployment.
Product Evaluation
- Study and evaluate new software solutions related to CAD, BIM, and engineering technologies.
- Provide feedback and recommendations on potential new tools or technologies to expand the company's offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture Engineering, or Interior Design.
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in technical support or engineering software environments.
- Good command of the English language (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of CAD, BIM, Steel Detailing, or Interior Design software is highly preferred.
- Experience working with engineering consultants or design firms is a strong advantage.
- Must be a resident in Cairo.
