Technical Support Specialist.
Job Title: Technical Support Specialist (
ARABIC SPEAKERS with DRIVING LICENSE Mandate )
Location: Doha, Qatar
Candidates available locally in Qatar , Arabic-speaking. Candidate must have a valid Driving License are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to end-user service requests and incidents.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware (PCs, laptops, Macs, printers, scanners, IP phones, mobile devices) and software.
- Setup, manage, and maintain user accounts, distribution groups, and passwords.
- Provide remote and on-site technical assistance and guidance.
- Maintain hardware/software availability for business continuity.
- Perform technical evaluations and recommend hardware/software solutions.
- Optimize IT devices and ensure proper configuration management.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, manuals, and reports.
- Use Service Manager or ITSM tools to log, update, escalate, and close tickets.
- Act as acting supervisor and assist with complex issues for VIP or sensitive users.
- Support IT projects, events, and third-party vendor coordination.
Skills & Tools
- SCCM, Shavlik patching tool, VBScript, PowerShell scripting.
- IT service process improvement and end-user coaching/training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- ITIL Foundation certification required; MCSE/MCITP mandatory; Cisco certification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of IT support experience, including hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
