Technical team leader (Senior software engineer)

At Keyformance, we are building digital products with a strong focus on quality, clarity and long term value. Our core product is a next generation driving theory app, and alongside this we deliver high quality website and software projects for clients in Europe.

We are now looking for a Technical Team Lead who can take ownership of our development team and help guide our engineers toward building clean, scalable and reliable solutions.

This is a hands on role. You will code, review code, make technical decisions and lead the team in day to day development.

Your role

You will lead a small team of junior software engineers working across mobile, backend and frontend projects.

You will be responsible for the technical direction of our products and for ensuring that code quality, structure and best practices are followed.

You will actively participate in sprint planning, task breakdown and technical discussions.

You will mentor junior developers, support their growth and help them make better technical decisions.

You will work closely with founders and product stakeholders to translate ideas into solid technical solutions.

Our current tech stack

Backend built with ASP.NET

Mobile app built with React Native

Web projects primarily frontend focused

Git based workflow with code reviews and sprint based development

What we are looking for

• Strong experience as a software engineer, preferably with both backend and frontend exposure
• Experience leading or mentoring junior developers
• Solid understanding of clean code principles, architecture and best practices
• Comfortable with code reviews, technical guidance and decision making

• Experience with sprint planning and structured development workflows
• A pragmatic mindset, focused on building things the right way, not the fastest way
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non technical stakeholders

• Experience with ASP.NET and or React Native
• Experience working in product focused teams
• Experience scaling early stage products or platforms
