Role Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Technical Trainer to join our team in Dubai, supporting training initiatives across the Middle East. This role involves delivering high-quality training programs to both internal and external stakeholders, with a focus on Rapiscan's product portfolio. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and Arabic, and comfortable training both technical and non-technical audiences. This position requires frequent travel across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective training to operators, supervisors, and service personnel on Rapiscan systems.
- Design, develop, and continuously improve training curricula to meet evolving business and customer needs.
- Lead training sessions aligned with business goals, ensuring performance and revenue targets are met.
- Ensure all training materials are accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with current product specifications and industry standards.
- Maintain high delivery standards in accordance with Rapiscan's competency framework and best practices.
- Support external training programs that contribute to revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to specialized programs such as Aviation Security and Threat Recognition.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding documentation, reporting, and expenses.
- Recommend and implement innovative training methods to improve learner engagement and outcomes.
- Support product launches and Entry into Service training to ensure smooth adoption.
- Maintain detailed and compliant training records for audit and internal review.
- Translate and adapt training materials into Arabic to ensure accessibility for Arabic-speaking learners.
- Deliver soft skills and other non-technical training as needed.
Candidate Profile
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years experience as a technical or systems trainer.
- Degree in Engineering or a related electronic discipline.
- Strong background in various technical fields including electronics, electrical, electromechanical systems, PCs, software, coding, and mechanical engineering.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Fluent in both English and Arabic.
Desired Qualifications:
- Relevant training certification.
- Prior experience working with X-ray systems.
