Technician, Assembly, Maintenance & Overhaul

JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for all electro-mechanical assemblies, testing, and maintenance in the Drilling Services Division.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Job Specific Accountabilities
uF0B7 Troubleshoots, tests, assembles, disassembles and performs visual inspection of electro-mechanical assemblies.
uF0B7 Assists in reworking, repairing and modifying non-conforming equipment.
uF0B7 Performs complex and difficult tests with minimal instruction and documentation.
uF0B7 Identifies and communicates technical problems by using logical troubleshooting techniques.
uF0B7 Provide coaching to other technicians in areas of proven competence.
uF0B7 Breaks down and redresses a variety of oilfield tools and reassembles them in preparation for their next assignment.
uF0B7 Ensures supplied equipment is compatible with all other equipment used for job.
uF0B7 Uses experience and knowledge of applications to ensure products and services are of highest quality.
uF0B7 Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes of practice.
uF0B7 Performs other similar or related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Training
uF0B7 Provide on-the-job Training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.

Tool Box
uF0B7 Maintain all tools, safety gear and equipment provided by company safely and in working condition.
uF0B7 Arrange for repair or replacement of any tools and safety gear that may not be in good working condition.

Time Management
uF0B7 Carry out all maintenance jobs in line with assigned time standards.
uF0B7 Inform the Maintenance Supervisor in case additional resources are required to carry out the job withinu00A0the assigned time frame.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement
uF0B7 Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operatingu00A0procedures, modification of functional processes, machinery or equipment.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
uF0B7 Support the institution of an HSE culture and ensure compliance with relevant HSE policies, proceduresu00A0& controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines across the Division in line withu00A0international standards, best practices and Corporate Code of Practices and to ensure integrity andu00A0safety of assets.

Housekeeping
uF0B7 Maintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during and after executing the job, in line withu00A0established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.

Reports
uF0B7 Collect technical data from the field as required and provide inputs to prepare Section progress reportsu00A0for Company Management.
uF0B7 Provide input for the preparation of Method statements and initiate Near Miss reports.

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

uF0B7 Daily contact with Supervisor, AMO.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Minimum Qualification
uF0B7 High School Diploma.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
uF0B7 4 yearsu2019 maintenance related experience in a mechanical function or other relevant industrialu00A0experience (airline, military, oilfield, automotive).
uF0B7 Working knowledge of Forklift, Crane, and Torque Machine Operations.
uF0B7 Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
uF0B7 Good mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills.
uF0B7 Fully conversant with company standards and operational procedures.
uF0B7 Basic knowledge of spoken and written English.
