Technician, Maintenance (CNG)

JOB PURPOSE

Execute maintenance service required to ADNOC by inspecting, identifying and carrying out preventive, predictive, corrective and emergency repair and maintenance work for all CNG and Hydrogen Refuelling facilities in the CNG and Hydrogen Refuelling stations.

Contact maintenance contractors for rectifying major problems and preventive maintenance, if required, in coordination with CNG Maintenance Supervisor to support integrity of equipment and compliance with HSE standards.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

General Maintenance Execution

u2022 Carry out any jobs that need corrective / emergency rectification of electromechanical areas at CNG Packages such as CNG compressor, electric motor, electrical switch gear, MCC room, Priority panel, CNG dispenser, Compressor cooling water circuit, PLC & Power Panels & Supervisory Panel (PSSD) and trailer mounted gas systems. Attend to complaints received from end users and physically visit the site to ascertain the extent of the problem, carrying out any corrective or emergency maintenance, as required.

u2022 Inspect, monitor and follow-up the maintenance contractors to ensure that required standard of work is provided and all reported problems are rectified satisfactorily.

u2022 Revisit sites having had problems to inspect and assess the work done, ensuring the problem is rectified as per standards and preparing a written report and submit to CNG Maintenance Supervisor.

u2022 Check the preventive maintenance reports submitted by maintenance contractors for the chiller units in CNG filling stations, determining if any equipment is due for replacement, ensuring the required level of quality service is constantly provided, and submitting report to CNG Maintenance Supervisor along with recommendations. u2022 Check the 3rd party contractor in carrying out a variety of maintenance jobs for the CNG filling stations, undertaking daily rotational checking and inspection of electro-mechanical areas such as chillers. Review the maintenance check list generated by the Contractor as per the monthly schedule service reports. u2022 Guide the maintenance contractor to access the various utilities installed in the CNG filling stations in accordance with the as-built drawings, providing the necessary information to perform the various preventive / breakdown maintenance works. u2022 Purchase and locally procure small maintenance related items of urgent nature using petty cash.

u2022 Attend to various complaints at CNG filling stations related to maintenance received through the SAP system for CNG assets.

u2022 Conduct regular routine tests as per the Predictive Maintenance schedule for CNG assets.

u2022 Attend all assigned breakdowns promptly, carry out necessary repair works and ensure that equipment is returned to service as soon as possible, while ensuring all safety precautions are taken.

u2022 Ensure the safety instructions are rigidly adhered to during all stages of the work in a hazardous area (safety checks).

u2022 Undertake filing duties of the entire completed Preventive / Predictive / Corrective / Emergency Maintenance on a regular basis in order to maintain updated records, carrying out duties of other Maintenance Technicians during their absence / annual leave.

u2022 Attend to end user queries and requests in the Supervisoru2019s absence.

Training

u2022 Provide on-the-job Training to meet Competency Based Training programs for UAE Nationalization.

Toolbox

u2022 Maintain all tools, safety gear and equipment provided by company safely and in working condition.

u2022 Arrange for repair or replacement of any tools and safety gear that may not be in good working condition.

Time Management

u2022 Carry out all maintenance jobs in line with assigned time standards.

u2022 Inform the Maintenance Supervisor in case additional resources are required to carry out the job within the assigned time frame. Innovation and Continuous Improvement

u2022 Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operating procedures, modification of functional processes, machinery or equipment. Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability

u2022 Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.

u2022 Participate in Emergency Response duties as a team member.

Housekeeping

u2022 Maintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during and after executing the job, in line with established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.

Reports

u2022 Collect technical data from the field as required and provide inputs to prepare Section progress reports for Company Management.

u2022 Provide input for the preparation of Method statements and initiate Near Miss reports

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Electrical/Instrumentation/Mechanical or High School graduate
• 4 years (for Diploma holders) / 6 years (for High School graduates) of experience in CNG / Natural Gas Maintenance function in oil and gas industry.
