Technician, Maintenance (General)

JOB PURPOSE:

Carry out routine and emergency inspection & maintenance at the Service Stations, Depots and other Adnoc facilities related to civil, carpentry, plumbing, painting and signage works. Monitor & Work with maintenance contractors for all corrective and preventive maintenance in coordination with concerned maintenance Supervisor.

Job Specific Accountabilities:

General Maintenance Execution

u2022 Carry out any jobs on facilities and equipment that need routine or emergency rectification at service stations and Depot/Plants. Attend to complaints received from end users and physically visit the site to ascertain the extent of the problem, carrying out any minor repairs, or contacting maintenance contractors for major defects and expertise.
u2022 Inspect, monitor and follow-up the maintenance contractors to ensure that required standard of workis provided on time and in line with contract terms and conditions and all reported problems arerectified satisfactorily.
u2022 Provide technical supervision over the execution of development contracts related to minor projectsand modification.
u2022 Plays a lead role in ensuring proper handovers and organize the work closeout certificates likeProvisional Acceptance Certificates (PAC).
u2022 Revisit sites having had problems to inspect and assess the work done, ensuring the problem isrectified as per standards and preparing a written report and submit to Maintenance Supervisor.
u2022 Check the 3rd party contractor in carrying out a variety of maintenance jobs for the Service Station andOffices, undertaking daily rotational checking and inspection of Signage and civil works.
u2022 Rectify any minor problems of urgent nature and report any major problems to the Supervisor GeneralMaintenance and maintenance contractor.
u2022 Review the daily check list generated by the Contractor as per the daily, weekly, monthly, and yearlyschedule service reports.

u2022 Guide the maintenance contractor to access the various utilities installed in the office buildings and service station in accordance with the as-built drawings, providing the necessary information to perform the various preventive/ breakdown maintenance works.
u2022 Attend to various complaints at Service Station and Offices related to maintenance received throughthe Oracle ERP system for civil, signage,
u2022 Provide support for Civil maintenance activities carried out within the Maintenance Division such ascarpentry, painting, air conditioning, plumbing etc.
u2022 Attend all assigned breakdowns promptly, carry out necessary repair works and ensure thatequipment is returned to service as soon as possible, while ensuring all safety precautions are taken.
u2022 Ensure the safety instructions are rigidly adhered to during all stages of the work in a hazardous area(safety checks).
u2022 Undertake filing duties of the entire completed Preventive Maintenance schedule on a regular basis tomaintain updated records, carrying out duties of other Maintenance Technicians during their absent/annual leave.
u2022 Attend to end user queries and requests in the Supervisoru2019s absence.
u2022 Check the Bill of quantities on site submitted by the contractors.
u2022 Inspect and make report on the ongoing major projects.
u2022 Assure the quality of material used for the execution of works during routine inspections.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

u2022 Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in the relevantfield.
u2022 Diploma in Civil Engineering.

u2022 4 years of experience in General Maintenance department in Oil and Gas Industry.
