Technician - Trucks

Role Purpose:

A Technician is expected to perform maintenance and repairs, of the agreed equipment/systems, to the required manufactures standards.

Job Accountabilities & Activities:

- Independently carry out maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting on equipment/systems. Inline with individual experience and knowledge.

When required, work with other team member to complete assigned tasks.

- Diagnose, analyze and rectify all types of faults, using manufactures information.

Maintain required levels of Utilization, Productivity and Efficiency. Inline with Manufacturers standard times.

-Ensure company/manufactures policies and procedures followed.

-Maintain the highest level of professional standards when discussing work with colleagues.

-Provide technical advice colleagues.

-Comply with Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.

-Maintain a thorough and up to date knowledge of products and attend training courses.

Education & Certifications:

High school education

Heavy vehicle technician or equivalent manufactures qualification

Required Years of Experience:

4 years work experience repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles or equipment
