Technician, Workshop

JOB PURPOSE:

Performs maintenance, repair, and servicing of TRS equipment and tools. Works closely with the Supervisor tou00A0ensure all workshop activities are carried out efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Supportsu00A0the operational readiness of TRS equipment to meet project requirements and client expectations.

u2022 Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of TRS equipment and tools in the workshop.
u2022 Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, implementing effective repair solutions.
u2022 Ensure all maintenance and repair activities comply with manufacturer specifications and industryu00A0standards.
u2022 Adhere to ADNOC Drillingu2019s safety policies and procedures within the workshop.
u2022 Participate in safety meetings, drills, and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment.
u2022 Report any safety incidents or hazards immediately and assist in the investigation process.
u2022 Ensure all maintenance and repair work meets the highest quality standards and adheres to projectu00A0specifications.
u2022 Conduct inspections and quality checks on repaired and maintained equipment to verify compliance.
u2022 Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as directed by the Supervisor.
u2022 Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance, repair activities, and performance metrics.
u2022 Ensure all TRS equipment is kept in good working condition and is ready for deployment.
u2022 Coordinate with the Supervisor to ensure timely servicing and availability of necessary parts and tools.
u2022 Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of workshop activities, including maintenance logs and repairu00A0reports.
u2022 Prepare and submit reports on equipment status, maintenance activities, and any incidents to theu00A0Supervisor.
u2022 Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and properly archived.
u2022 Provide support to other technicians and team members, fostering a collaborative and productive worku00A0environment.
u2022 Assist in training programs to enhance the skills and competencies of team members.
u2022 Support the Supervisor in achieving workshop operational goals and continuous improvementu00A0initiatives. Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies within the workshop.
u2022 Support the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
u2022 Participate in training programs and workshops to enhance personal skills and knowledge.
u2022 Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes ofu00A0practice.

u2022 Arrange for repair or replacement of any tools and safety gear that may not be in good working condition.

Time Management
u2022 Carry out all maintenance jobs in line with assigned time standards.
u2022 Inform the Maintenance Supervisor in case additional resources are required to carry out the job within the assigned time frame.u00A0

Innovation and Continuous Improvement
u2022 Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operatingu00A0procedures, modification of functional processes, machinery or equipment.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability
u2022 Support the institution of an HSE culture and ensure compliance with relevant HSE policies, proceduresu00A0& controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines across the Division in line withu00A0international standards, best practices and Corporate Code of Practices and to ensure integrity andu00A0safety of assets.

Housekeeping
u2022 Maintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during and after executing the job, in line withu00A0established standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.

Reports
u2022 Collect technical data from the field as required and provide inputs to prepare Section progress reportsu00A0for Company Management.
u2022 Provide input for the preparation of Method statements and initiate Near Miss reports.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
u2022 High school diploma or equivalent. A technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electricalu00A0Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
u2022 Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in equipment maintenance and repair, preferably in oilfieldu00A0services.
u2022 Proven ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks in a workshop environment.
u2022 Demonstrated experience in maintaining and troubleshooting TRS equipment.
