A leading Gas Project is urgently hiring for the role of Telecommunication Engineer
QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or related field
- Master's degree is an advantage
- Strong academic foundation in networking, communication systems, and signal processing
- 2–5+ years of experience in telecommunications or network engineering
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop, and implement telecommunications systems and networks (voice, data, and wireless)
- Install, configure, and maintain telecom equipment such as routers, switches, and transmission systems
- Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability
- Troubleshoot and resolve network faults, outages, and performance issues
- Support and optimize technologies including 4G/5G, LTE, fiber optics, and broadband systems
- Conduct regular system testing, upgrades, and preventive maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, vendors, field engineers) to ensure smooth operations
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and network diagrams
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers or technicians
