The German University in Cairo is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as a Temporary Travel Office Coordinator.
Reporting Channel/Interactions:
- Reports directly to the Travel Office Manager& Head of Department
- Interacts and communicates with GUC Community, local and international hotels, airlines and travel agencies
Educational Background:
BA in General Management or Tourism
Experience:
Fresh Graduate or (1 - 3 years)experience in the Travel Business Field
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in trips planning and booking process based on procedures in-place
- Handle, prepare and revise all travelling documents for students related to the Semester Abroad Program at GUC Berlin
- Support in the preparation and compilation of statistical reports
- Handle necessary correspondence for booking purposes
- Maintain the filing system
- Handle any booking requirements with travel agencies and seek for best possible travel offers
- Handle all administrative tasks and inquiries
- Execute based on Manager's assignment - departmental booking orders
- Maintain the Travel Office database
- Handle any ad-hoc assigned duties related to the dept.

- Computer Skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet and e-mail Organizational Skills
- Language Skills: Arabic Fluent (Written& Spoken)
- English Fluent (Written& spoken) German is an asset
- Administrative Skills Interpersonal Skills
