Your mission:
The Tender Coordinator is responsible for supporting the review of local sales requests and obtaining approval from Product Managers before submitting them to teams and management in Japan through the relevant systems. The role also includes responsibility for the local approval of quotations, in line with agreed processes and pricing levels or criteria.
What you will do:
- Maintain summary reports of all price requests from sales teams and track their status within the approval flow.
- Conduct an initial review of sales team requests, ensuring alignment with the relevant criteria prescribed by the Product Team.
- Formally submit requests through the dedicated pricing portal and follow up on questions and requests for supporting evidence.
- Communicate official price approvals, including relevant terms and conditions, to key stakeholders.
- Review and approve all quotations issued by sales teams in line with the approval matrix or tender approval list from Japan.
- Conduct monthly reviews of all open tender statuses, including regular meetings with sales teams.
- Perform quarterly reviews of consumable sales in line with commitments for all tenders.
- Communicate key tenders to forecast planning teams where rollout schedules are not aligned with FCx plans.
- Develop processes to maintain and manage local promotional pricing and the approval matrix.
- Update tools and systems to reflect newly launched products.
- Develop processes and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Support Product Managers with individual tender analysis as required.
- Maintain price analysis overviews per country and product across all key product lines.
- Learn and understand Epson's commercial policy to support participation in annual reviews and adjustments.
- Support the creation and ongoing updating of product price lists.
What we ask for:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience, with the ability to operate and interact at this level.
- Understanding of B2B pricing activities and tender business.
- Experience in the printing industry or in a business with recurring revenues is advantageous, but not essential.
- Strong analytical skills with a high affinity for numbers, ensuring calculations are logical and accurate.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate with stakeholders from different cultures and linguistic backgrounds.
- Day-to-day experience using Excel and Power BI or similar analytical tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI skills are a strong advantage.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal; additional languages are a strong benefit.
