Job Description
2-MEP Tender Engineer :
preparing bids for construction projects, focusing on cost estimation, scope definition, and technical/commercial proposal development for HVAC electrical, and plumbing systems. Key duties include reviewing tender documents, quantifying materials, coordinating with suppliers for pricing, attending client meetings, and ensuring proposals meet commercial guidelines and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Tender Preparation: Compile and submit technical and commercial proposals for MEP works.
Document Review: Analyze tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs (Bills of Quantities) to define the scope.
Cost Estimation: Identify and quantify costs for materials, labor, and subcontractors for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting wsystems.
Supplier Coordination: Obtain quotes from suppliers, review them, and select vendors.
Technical & Commercial Submittals: Prepare technical specifications, method statements, and commercial offers.
Client Liaison: Attend clarification meetings with clients and other stakeholders.
Risk Management: Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Handoveraa: Prepare handover documentation for successful
