Job Title: Acquiring Testing Specialist
Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional and integration testing for acquiring systems, merchant clearing, and settlement processes.
- Validate POS, ATM terminals, e-commerce platforms, and payment gateways for acquiring transactions.
- Execute certification testing for schemes (Visa, Mastercard, mada) and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements.
- Conduct end-to-end testing for merchant onboarding, transaction flows, and settlement cycles.
- Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
- Document and report defects, test results, and certification status to ensure timely closure.
- Ensure adherence to PCI-DSS, SAMA guidelines, and security standards during testing.
Required Skills & Experience
- 69 years of experience in cards and payments domain, with strong focus on acquiring systems testing.
- Hands-on experience in:
- Merchant acquiring, clearing, and settlement
- POS/ATM terminal testing
- Payment gateway and e-commerce transaction validation
- Familiarity with ISO 8583 message formats, EMV standards, and scheme certification processes.
- Strong knowledge of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM) and defect tracking.
- Good understanding of transaction lifecycle, interchange, and reconciliation processes.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to automation testing for payment systems.
- Experience with mada and local acquiring regulations in Saudi Arabia.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) for transaction load validation.
