Bevatel is hiring a
Test Lead to oversee our quality assurance processes and lead our QA team. We need someone who can balance hands-on testing (Web, Mobile, Automation) with strategic planning and team mentorship. As a key player in our development cycle, you will ensure our products meet the highest standards while coaching the next generation of testers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze user stories/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.
- Collaborate closely with other team members.
- Execute all levels of testing. (System, Integration, Regression, Automated)
- Review business requirements and provide inputs.
- Prepare and review test plans.
- Prepare test cases, test scripts and test data.
- Execute tests. (manual)
- Test Web services, APIs and Mobile Applications. (iOS&Android)
- Report defects and assist in their understanding.
- Write Bug Reporting & Test Cases.
- Prepare and present test reports.
- Coach, share knowledge, and monitor junior test engineers to support their professional growth and ensure
quality standards.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies.
- Lead QA initiatives and influence team practices.
- Articulate complex testing concepts.
- Mentor and guide team members.
- Performing other duties as assigned by your direct supervisor.
Requirements
- 5+ years in Software QA, with a strong background in both Manual and Automation testing.
- Expert in testing Web, Mobile (iOS/Android), and APIs.
- Solid experience in designing Test Plans, Test Cases, and Strategies.
- Proven ability to write and maintain automated test scripts.
- Experience in mentoring junior engineers and leading QA initiatives.
- Strong ability to analyze user stories and business requirements for validity.
- Excellent ability to articulate complex concepts and report defects clearly.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
