Testing and Commissioning Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Testing & Commissioning Engineer to support EPC oil & gas projects, responsible for electrical testing, protection systems verification, and commissioning activities up to 33kV. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in switchgear, protection relays, transformers, and shutdown execution.

Your Role
As a Testing and Commissioning Engineer, you will:
- Perform SWGR component testing up to 33kV
- Execute scheme checks and interface checks with related systems
- Conduct busbar protection testing (stable and unstable) using primary injection
- Carry out line differential and motor differential protection testing (stable and unstable) via primary injection
- Perform power transformer testing and verification
- Execute LV/MV cable testing (IR, continuity, sheath, and withstand tests as applicable)
- Ensure correct configuration, testing, and validation of protection relays
- Participate actively in plant shutdown activities, including planning, execution, and restoration
- Coordinate with EPC stakeholders, vendors, and site teams to ensure safe and compliant commissioning
- Ensure all testing activities comply with project specifications, IEC/IEEE standards, and HSE requirements
- Prepare and submit test reports, commissioning dossiers, and as-built documentation
What We're Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of Testing & Commissioning experience in EPC Oil & Gas projects
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Expertise: Strong knowledge ofMV Switchgear (up to 33kV), Protection systems and relays, Primary injection testing, Power transformers and cable testing. Proven experience in shutdown commissioning activities. Familiarity with international standards (IEC, IEEE). Strong troubleshooting documentation and coordination skills.
