Your Professional Opportunity
We are looking for a Testing and Commissioning System Engineer to join our company in Saudi Arabia, to work on multiple Telecom and Security Integration projects for Oil & Gas Clients
Key Responsibilities for this Role Include:
- Supervision of Installation: Oversee the installation of cabinets and field equipment carried out by the EPC contractor, either onshore at the construction yard or offshore.
- Testing and Commissioning: Conduct testing, commissioning, Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and provide necessary training.
- Site Activity Completion: Ensure all site activities are completed with no outstanding punch-list items.
- Red-Line Input Collection: Gather all technical and operational changes required to update project documentation with red-line modifications.
This role requires a highly organized and proactive individual capable of successfully delivering site activities in a challenging work environment.
Requirements for the Position:
- A degree in Telecommunication or Electronic Engineering (or a related field).
- Minimum of 3 years as a Commissioning Engineer of Telecom and Security Systems
- Experience in offshore site activities
- Profound knowledge of Security Systems and Telecom Systems, such as Access Control, Public Address/General Alarm, Intrusion Detection, CCTV, Data Network, Telephone, Radio, etc.
- Experience in Installation Supervision, Commissioning, SAT and Training
- Capable of leading meetings with clients&apos engineering and onsite operators
- Effective problem-solving capabilities.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
- Availability to work at onshore and offshore site, for medium to long periods
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
- Proficiency in Italian or Arab will be considered a plus.
- Required certification to work offshore (BOSIET or equivalent)
- Past experience with Saudi Aramco will be considered a plus
