Program Overview

The Banker Program is a graduate development journey designed to build the next generation of banking and technology professionals.

The program offers two specialized tracks:

  • Banker Associate Track (Business)
  • Banker Technologist Track (Technology)

Through a structured blend of hands-on experience, in-class learning, and on-the-job training, participants gain exposure to critical business functions and emerging technological capabilities that drive the future of banking.

The program is designed to provide a practical, immersive, and high-impact learning experience, preparing graduates to transition into full-time roles upon successful completion.

Program Structure

The program is delivered across two phases:

Phase 1: Learning & Exposure

Participants will:

  • Attend intensive in-class training aligned to their track
  • Participate in case studies, simulations, and knowledge assessments
  • Engage in rotations across different functions/teams
  • Receive coaching and mentorship support
  • Work on a final group project

Phase 2: On-the-Job Training

Participants will:

  • Be placed within a relevant department
  • Work closely with experienced professionals
  • Apply acquired knowledge in a real work environment
  • Build practical experience leading to final placement

1. Banker Associate Track (Business)

  • Wholesale Banking (which includes corporate banking, trade finance, and structured finance)

Focused on developing future technology professionals in banking, across areas such as:

  • IT & Cyber security

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Recent graduate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in:
  • Business or engineering – related fields (Finance, Accounting, Economics, HR, MIS, Industrial engineer, etc.) for the Associate Track
  • Technology-related fields (Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data, etc.) for the Technologist Track
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • GPA: Minimum 2.75/4 or 3.50/5
