Job Description

Job Purpose:

  • The Ticketing Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of ticketing operations, including reservations, sales, issuance, and customer service, while ensuring accurate financial reconciliation and reporting. The role ensures smooth ticketing processes, compliance with financial procedures, and efficient coordination between the ticketing system, customers, and internal finance teams.

Key Accountabilities:

Ticketing Operations

  • Handle ticket reservations, issuance, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds across various channels (online, box office, agents).
  • Maintain and update the ticketing system to ensure accurate seat allocations, pricing structures, and availability.
  • Provide timely customer service to resolve ticketing inquiries, complaints, and special requests.
  • Coordinate with sales, marketing, and events teams to support promotional campaigns, group bookings, and VIP clients.
  • Ensure compliance with ticketing policies, procedures, and service standards.

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Track and reconcile daily ticket sales, refunds, commissions, and discounts.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, including daily sales summaries, revenue breakdowns, and outstanding balances.
  • Manage payments received through cash, credit cards, transfers, or online gateways, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Liaise with the finance department to ensure timely deposits, invoicing, and proper documentation for audits.
  • Support budget preparation and monitor ticketing revenue performance against targets.

Coordination & Compliance

  • Act as the liaison between ticketing vendors, finance teams, and management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, audit requirements, and external regulatory standards.
  • Maintain accurate ticketing records, contracts, and agreements for future reference.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve ticketing efficiency, revenue generation, and cost optimization.

Job Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of experience in Ticketing or financial coordination.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, finance, tourism or any related field.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Knowledge of Amadeus system.
