Trade Finance Operations Officer

Reporting: To Head of Operations
This role is responsible for handling the day-to-day trade finance operations for the group's trade credit services business. The person will issue all transactional documentation, including commercial contracts and invoices, and draft letters of credit.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Issue all transactional documentation, including commercial contracts, invoices, and drafts of letters of credit.
- Manage the settlement process for transactions, including presenting documents, discounting letters of credit, and making payments to customers.
- All necessary coordination with clients, banks and other team members, including sales, accounting, legal and compliance.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in trade finance operations in banks, financial institutions or trading companies.
- Full understanding of UCP 600, Letters of credit, Guarantees, Promissory notes, Bills of Exchange and trade-related receivables.
- Knowledge of cross-border trading and transaction processes.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree from a reputable university preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- English (mandatory).
- French and/or Turkish (preferred).
