Job Summary
Al Marwan Group is seeking a Trainee / Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team on major infrastructure projects in the UAE. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who want hands-on experience in cost management, measurement, and contract administration under the guidance of senior QS staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in quantity take-offs, BOQs, cost estimates, and budgets
- Support interim valuations, payment applications, and final accounts
- Help monitor project costs, variations, and change control
- Assist in subcontractor package evaluation and tender preparation
- Maintain accurate records of quantities, costs, and site instructions
- Liaise with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors
- Support commercial reporting and progress summaries
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements and company procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 02 years of experience in UAE experience is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of FIDIC contracts preferred, familiarity with CESMM an advantage
- Proficient in MS Excel, QS software and AutoCAD knowledge a plus
- Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills
- Good English communication skills, Arabic is an advantage
- Willingness to work on site-based infrastructure projects
