Job Overview:
We are currently hiring Trainees - Risk Advisory & Financial Advisory for an onsite position in the UAE.
Role Overview:
As a Trainee in Risk Advisory & Financial Advisory, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating our and clients internal controls, financial systems, and operational processes to identify potential risks and provide strategic recommendations for their mitigation. You will ensure that our clients business operations are aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements. All trainee employees shall progress to role of Associate Consultants within 6 months, after successful completion of probation and training period.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and audits of various departments and processes within the assigned organizations.
- Analyze financial data, internal controls, and operational processes to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas of improvement.
- Develop and execute audit plans that prioritize high-risk areas and critical business processes.
- Provide expertise in evaluating the effectiveness of risk management strategies and internal controls.
- Collaborate with department heads and team leads to understand business processes and tailor audit procedures accordingly.
- Prepare detailed audit reports that outline findings, recommendations, and action plans for improving processes and mitigating risks.
- Advise senior management on strategic decisions based on audit findings and risk assessment outcomes.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and track progress towards risk mitigation goals.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and emerging best practices in risk assessment and advisory.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams to enhance their understanding of risk management principles.
Person Specification:
Essential
The successful applicant must:
- Hold bachelors degree from a reputed UAE University and must be in the UAE at the time of applying
- Have at least 3 6 months previous experience in professional services firm.
- Strong understanding of risk frameworks, controls, and business processes
- Have UAE residency
- Must be open to travel to Southeast Asian countries for engagements
- Hold UAE driving license
Desirable
- Pursuing a professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA etc.
- Previous experience in Risk Advisory with professional services firm
