Job Description

Position Overview:
Responsible for delivering quality assurance practices and processes for training, assessment, compliance, and competence within ER Training. The Quality Assurance role is to support the Quality Assurance Manager to deliver internal assurance processes that validate workforce competence and drive continuous improvements through best practices and standards.

Roles and Responsibility: • Setting and maintaining the highest standards for quality. • Auditing and inspecting departments against compliance and assurance standards. • Providing support with external audits. • Assuring all training and assessment practices and materials. • Assurance of all Trainers and Assessors. • Preparation and submission of accurate reports submitted in advance of deadlines. • Implementing quality improvement measures through Quality Improvement Plans. • Identify areas for improvement. • Maintaining the company's quality procedures, standards, and specifications. • Undertake Quality Assurance visits to each department and record evidence of performance quality performance. • Develop action plans and provide realistic targets to make ongoing improvements. • Developing and updating quality procedures in collaboration with departments. • Assure all aspects of the ER competence management system. • Contribute to the development of ER practices. • Compliance with Company policies and procedures. • Manage the quality of Continuous Professional Development for licensed Trainers and Assessors.

Academic Qualifications: • Recognized qualification in internal quality assurance or internal auditing.

Professional Qualifications: • College diploma • IQA Level 4

Experience: • No less than 5 years proven experience in a quality assurance role. • Competent in modern computer packages and e-learning techniques. • Oracle experience preferred.

Other Skills: • Excellent standard of the English language essential. • Previous experience in rail operations and maintenance. • Excellent knowledge of training processes, systems, and challenges. • Strong Communication skills. • Self-management. • Cooperation, working with others, a team player. • Conscientiousness. • Work experience in a multi-cultural environment.
