Key Responsibilities:
Transfer Pricing Documentation:
- Develop, maintain, and update transfer pricing documentation for the company's global operations to comply with local regulations and OECD guidelines.
- Prepare local files, master files, and country-by-country reports in line with the applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Coordinate and manage the transfer pricing documentation process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of reports.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with international transfer pricing laws and local regulations, reducing tax risks.
- Prepare and review transfer pricing models and benchmarks to support intercompany pricing arrangements.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure transfer pricing policies remain in compliance with current tax practices.
Intercompany Agreements:
- Assist in the drafting and review of intercompany agreements, ensuring that pricing terms and conditions are consistent with transfer pricing policies and regulations.
- Ensure that intercompany transactions are properly documented and reflect arm's length principles.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work with internal finance, tax, and legal teams to assess and mitigate risks related to intercompany pricing structures.
- Collaborate with business units to develop transfer pricing policies that support the company's operational and financial goals.
- Provide guidance and training to other departments on transfer pricing issues.
Audit and Dispute Resolution:
- Assist in the management of transfer pricing audits or disputes with tax authorities.
- Work with external advisors to resolve any transfer pricing issues raised during tax audits or disputes.
- Respond to queries from tax authorities in a timely and effective manner.
Strategic Planning and Advisory:
- Advise senior management on transfer pricing matters, providing strategic insights into pricing structures, tax-efficient strategies, and potential impacts on financial reporting.
- Develop strategies for reducing tax exposure and managing intercompany pricing arrangements across multiple jurisdictions.
Global Transfer Pricing Strategy:
- Contribute to the development of the company's global transfer pricing strategy in alignment with the company's broader tax and business strategies.
- Monitor the implementation of transfer pricing strategies in different jurisdictions.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7+years of experience in transfer pricing, tax, or finance, preferably in a multinational company or public accounting firm.
- Experience with transfer pricing documentation requirements, local tax law, and international tax treaties.
- Familiarity with OECD transfer pricing guidelines and other global transfer pricing regulations.
