We are seeking a highly experienced Translator Defense Industry to provide accurate, context-sensitive translation services for defense, military, and national security-related materials. The role involves translating complex technical, operational, and strategic documents between Arabic and English, ensuring precision, confidentiality, and alignment with defense terminology and standards.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of professional translation experience, with direct exposure to defense, military, or strategic sectors
- Proven experience translating national security documents and technical military materials
- Demonstrated experience supporting defense or government entities
- Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
- Professional translation certification (e.g., ATA or equivalent recognized certification)
- Strong knowledge of military terminology, defense systems, and strategic documentation
- Experience translating official briefings, operational reports, policies, and classified-style communications
Key Responsibilities
- Translate defense, military, and national security documents between Arabic and English with high accuracy
- Translate technical manuals, operational reports, strategic plans, policies, and official correspondence
- Review and proofread translated materials to ensure consistency, clarity, and compliance with defense terminology
- Support translation of leadership briefings, presentations, and strategic communications
- Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with security handling protocols
- Ensure terminology consistency across documents through glossary and terminology management
- Provide interpretation support when required for meetings or official engagements
- Coordinate with subject matter experts to validate technical terminology and contextual accuracy
