A growing Destination Management Company in the travel and experiences sector is seeking a Product Manager to lead the development and management of a portfolio of tours, excursions, and destination travel experiences.
This role is suited to someone with strong destination knowledge, commercial awareness, and a passion for creating high-quality, guest-focused travel products. You will work closely with senior product leadership and collaborate across contracting, pricing, operations, reservations, sales, and marketing to ensure products are attractive to the market, operationally sound, and commercially successful.
Important: This role focuses on travel experiences and destination products. It is not related to software, digital, or IT product management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance tours, excursions, and destination-based travel products aligned with business strategy and market demand
- Build detailed itineraries and inclusions that deliver strong guest value and memorable experiences
- Conduct market and competitor research to support product positioning and innovation
- Support product launches and phased rollouts, refining offerings based on guest feedback and performance results
- Work closely with contracting teams and tourism suppliers (hotels, attractions, transport providers, guides) to secure competitive commercial terms and value-added components
- Partner with pricing and analytics teams to ensure products are profitable and competitively positioned
- Provide product descriptions, itineraries, and selling points for both B2B and B2C channels
- Coordinate development timelines and ensure strong cross-functional alignment
- Ensure operational readiness in collaboration with operations and reservations teams
- Monitor product performance including bookings, revenue, margins, and guest satisfaction
- Conduct site inspections and supplier visits to maintain product quality and standards
- Identify opportunities to improve products using market trends and performance insights
- Maintain accurate product documentation and supplier records
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years experience in travel product development, destination services, DMC, or tour operations
- Strong understanding of travel operations and service quality standards
- Experience working with multiple internal teams and external suppliers
- Analytical and comfortable reviewing performance and market data
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
