Location :- Abu Dhabi (Head Office)

Mazrui International is looking for a Treasury professional who brings mastery in Trade Finance, Advanced Excel, and Cashflow Reporting to power our Group's financial engine. You will be instrumental in supporting the Group Treasurer with cashflow forecasting, trade finance operations, banking operations and treasury analytics.

Designation :- Treasury Analyst

Reporting to :- Group Treasury Director (Finance)

Job Purpose :- Support the Group's Treasury function by applying strong Trade Finance experience, advanced Excel skills, and accurate cashflow reporting to ensure efficient cash management, smooth banking operations, and timely treasury analysis. To organize and ensure the effectiveness of the day to day operation of the Treasury Department in meeting the company's financial objectives as prescribed by the Group Treasurer.

This will include but not be limited to the following points and you will be expected to carry out additional tasks as and when instructed :-

  • Day-to-day operational responsibilities include cash management activities, trade finance, reporting of the group's foreign exchange exposures, loan administration, reporting and forecasting and treasury systems monitoring.
  • Support all businesses within group for any treasury related matters.

Transactions

  • Documentary Credits
  • Issuance
  • Amendments
  • Cancellation
  • Settlement
  • Monitoring
  • Review of export letters of credit

Trust Receipts

  • Application
  • Monitoring

Intercompany related transactions

  • Prepares funding request
  • Prepares transfer letters
  • Calculate Treasury monthly interest
  • Calculate long term loan interest

Reports

  • Weekly Payment Profile
  • Monthly Contingent Liabilities Utilization
  • Month End reconciliation of Contingent Liabilities

Annual Audit

  • Prepares audit pack schedules
  • Prepares bank confirmation requests
  • Reconcile contingent liabilities against bank confirmations

AD HOC reports

  • To prepare AD HOC reports as required by the Group Treasurer
  • Assist with special projects as required
  • To achieve all assigned objectives ensuring the company policies and instructions are affected in a timely manner.

Ability & Skills:

  • Trade Finance experience is a must
  • Cash flow forecasting and reporting
  • Knowledge and experience of cash management operations, banking relationships and other treasury management applications
  • Monthly utilization report of contingent liabilities
  • Month end reconciliation of contingent liabilities
  • Month end Treasury interest calculation
  • Working knowledge of settlement procedures and systems/ Experience in using Electronic banking payment systems
  • Basic understanding of derivative instruments (forwards, futures, and options) and IFRS hedge accounting rules
  • Pro- active in nature in settling issues and be a good Team player with ability to work under pressure.
  • Positive attitude, ability to learn and work independently with least supervision.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills as the profile demands to communicate effectively with non-specialists
  • Strong personality who has the experience and credibility to push back on the business to drive change
  • Strong MS office skills , especially Excel, word and Power point
  • Hands on experience in Oracle is an added advantage

Experience: 5-7 years experience in a Treasury Department including a minimum of 3-5 years experience of working in a corporate treasury function in a large, international organization

Academic Qualifications:

  • University graduate in Finance, MSc in Finance/ MBA preferred
  • Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) qualification would be a distinct advantage
