About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Senior Credit Control Associate to manage premium collections, insurer reconciliations, and stakeholder coordination. The role focuses on ensuring timely client payments, accurate financial records ability, to lead escalations and drive process improvements in the credit control function.
Key Responsibilities
- Request and reconcile insurer statements; ensure all client premium payments are accurately recorded and up to date
- Follow up with clients to secure timely premium collections and prevent Notice of Cancellation, suspensions, or policy interruptions
- Update insurers regularly on collection status and expected remittances
- Handle escalations from clients, insurers, and internal teams with timely and professional resolution
- Request and manage Receipt Vouchers from insurers; share with clients and internal departments
- Respond to queries from clients, sales teams, and internal departments regarding premium status and account balances
- Conduct internal meetings with Brokers and the Sales team to review outstanding premiums, align on priorities, and clear aged balances
- Support process improvements, enhance collection tracking, and ensure adherence to internal control
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 3 plus years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or relevant Insurance experience
- Strong reconciliation and account management skills, with the ability to handle complex, multiparty accounts
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
- High attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and ability to perform under pressure
