To maintain a competitive advantage as we grow, we are currently looking for a new UI/UX Designer

Job purpose:

Take ownership of the UI (Visual Design, Design Systemization and UX (User Experience, Logic, Flow, Research & Benchmarking). Building and continuously improving the user interface design and experience for our application and related products across different devices, mediums and form factors (mobile, web, terminal, kiosk). Regularly bring user insights into their design process and expected to be ambitious and committed design advocates.

Responsibilities:

  • Advocate the Geidea brand in all design decisions. Take lead in building a strong and consistent design eco-system across all of Geidea's experiences.
  • Create Wireframes, Lo-Fi & Hi-FI interfaces and journeys within the User Interface inspired by user insights, brand personality, competitor analysis and strong research.
  • Quickly understand the Product, Segment & underlying use-case to drive informed design decisions.
  • Deeply understand customer needs (internally & externally) to recommend new products or product enhancements to the Product Management team.
  • Continuously improve the user interface and experience for our products.
  • Work closely with our customers as part of research-related tasks.
  • Create personas and use cases through user research and data.
  • Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success.
  • Develop wireframes and prototypes around customer needs.
  • Find creative ways to solve UX problems.
  • Communicate design ideas and prototypes to Product Managers and developers
  • Conduct design thinking, usability testing and gather feedback.

Responsibilities:

  • 3-5 years of relevant design experience in a digital product. Preferably in Banking, Finance, Fintech or Payments.
  • Preferrable experience in designing for Geidea's target segments (Merchants / B2B).
  • Strong portfolio of projects showing excellent eye for design and good execution of design concepts
  • Analytical mind with a business acumen
  • Experience in designing and maintaining cross-platform design systems.
  • proven ability to understand complex software from a user perspective.
  • deep knowledge of design (Figma, FigJam, Sketch, Miro) &prototyping, testing and analytics tools such as, Hotjar, Maze, Lookback, Google Analytics, Amplitude and Mixpanel.
