Underwriting Manager (UAE National)

A leading organization in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Emirati professional to join as Manager Underwriting within the Large Group Renewal Business. This leadership role is responsible for shaping underwriting strategy, managing risk and pricing decisions, overseeing policy renewals, and leading a high-performing underwriting team.

You will drive process improvements, implement data-driven underwriting models, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate closely with sales and claims teams to support sustainable growth and profitability. The role also involves analyzing market trends, enhancing portfolio performance, and strengthening relationships with brokers and clients.

Requirements:

UAE National (Emirati) with Family Book

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field (Master's preferred)

810+ years of underwriting experience, including leadership exposure

Strong expertise in risk assessment, pricing, and regulatory frameworks
