Design, control and maintain network systems in order to provide effective and efficient utilization of ADIB's network facilities and infrastructure to ensure the availability, confidentiality, accountability and performance according to accepted service level agreements.
Monitor, control and administer information security in the bank (e.g., firewalls, routers, Select the tools and security services for security administration automation.
Key Accountabilities of the role:
Design Network and Telecom Infrastructure (20%)
Plan and design Network and unified communications architecture and infrastructure, identify the technical specs of the LAN, WAN and Unified communications components in order to fulfill design and architecture requirement.
Participate in Networking, Telecom and Security products, solutions and technology selection.
Analyze, monitor and evaluate industry trend and best practices of Network and unified communications components, infrastructure and solutions in order to follow and implement in ADIB
Implementation (30%)
Supervise the installations, configuration, monitoring and maintenance of entire ADIB Network and unified communication infrastructure.
Monitor supplier's workflow, follow up on network project phases, execute and test deployed components, solutions, and infrastructure.
Analyze and implement Network and Unified communication requirement for end users to fulfill business requirement.
Ensure Implementation of secure configuration across ADIB entire network and unified communication infrastructure
Plan and upgrade ADIB entire Network and unified communications components/ infrastructure as and when needed to maintain supportability from principal vendor and in order to introduce and enhance features and services.
Network and security Administrator (10%)
Ensure maximum network and unified communications components and infrastructure uptime, availability, reliability, and connectivity.
Ensure mission critical Infrastructure and platform availability, introduce, and enhance high availability and redundancy of LAN, WAN and Unified Communication infrastructure at ADIB entire network.
Monitor and manage ADIB network team for day-to-day operations and projects.
Co-ordination (15%)
Co-ordinate with Systems Administrator, DBA and Operations Team.
Inspect new networking devices meeting the security standards before coming live, and randomly inspect network equipment.
Coordinate and escalate with vendors and Telecom service provider for incidents, issues and service delivery.
Documentation / Process Ownership (5%)
The incumbent is responsible to take ownership, maintain & update documented processes or documentation related to his job function.
In the event where processes or documentation are shared, the incumbent shall be responsible to inform the owner of any document about required changes or improvements.
Files (5%): Maintain Files/documentations:
Review (5%) and provide feedback for various projects documents i.e., HLD, LLD, NIP, test plans etc. related to ADIB Network and unified communications infrastructure projects.
Report (5%): Provide progress report on timely manner, including tasks, projects, incidents, and ad hoc requirements.
Automation: Implement automation required for performing the responsibilities and targets after getting the appropriate approval.
Adhere to ITD (5%) and bank's policies, procedures including but not limited to reporting, internal and external processes, security, report immediately any potential / actual weaknesses / risks and incidents that noticed or observed.
Information Security:
Maintain information security related to ADIB, throughout the period of employment.
As soon as possible, report any potential or actual risks or incidents affecting the security of information to the helpdesk.
Ensure Implementation of secure configuration across ADIB entire network and unified communication infrastructure as per ADIB security standard.
