Handle the Operations, design, implementation, and maintenance of our Unix AIX & Linux infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices
Install, configure, and maintain Unix-based systems, AIX and Linux systems.
Perform system updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure security and performance
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, including system crashes and application failures
Implement and maintain security protocols, firewalls, and access controls to protect system integrity
Create and manage user accounts and permissions
Define and enforce standards, policies, and procedures for Unix AIX system administration, security, and compliance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and optimization
Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in Unix administration, recommending innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
Perform other responsibilities as required by higher levels of supervision
Handle incidents, problems and changes in day to day operational activities.
Comply with Client security protocols and server hardening.
Good with performance tuning and Migrations of systems.
