Job Summary
One of our client is seeking a talented Urdu Language Expert to contribute to a variety of language-focused projects. In this remote contract role, you will use your expertise in the Urdu language to ensure accurate, culturally appropriate, and high-quality communication across multiple content types. Key Responsibilities
Translate documents and materials accurately from English to Urdu and vice versa while preserving context and meaning.
Review and edit Urdu content to ensure proper grammar, tone, clarity, and cultural relevance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide linguistic support for various project requirements.
Develop, proofread, and adapt content to effectively engage Urdu-speaking audiences.
Assist in creating language resources, glossaries, and documentation aligned with project guidelines.
Provide both written and verbal communication support to ensure smooth project execution.
Stay updated on evolving trends and developments in Urdu language usage and cultural context.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Native or near-native proficiency in Urdu with excellent command of grammar and vocabulary.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Urdu and English.
Experience in translation, localization, editing, or linguistic review of Urdu-language content.
Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to linguistic accuracy and quality.
Ability to work independently in a remote work environment.
Proficiency with digital communication and collaboration tools.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
Educational background in linguistics, translation studies, or a related field.
Experience working within multicultural or international teams.
