We're looking for a highly motivated User Research intern to join our fast-moving User Research team and support research that directly improves product experience and user trust. This is a 6-month role with structured mentorship, regular performance reviews, and a clear progression path. High performers will be strongly considered for extended opportunities or longer-term roles based on business needs and performance.

What you'll work on

You will support a mix of qualitative and quantitative research across Bybit's key user journeys. This includes helping the team understand user needs, validate designs, identify friction points, and communicate insights clearly to product and design partners.

Responsibilities

• Support mixed-method research execution: Support research planning and execution for both qualitative and quantitative studies (e.g., deep-dive interviews / usability testing / surveys), including preparation, coordination, and basic analysis.
• Support synthesis and insight packaging: Help organize and synthesize findings into clear themes and takeaways, and support building research readouts (slides/docs) for designers, PMs, and leadership.
• Support follow-through and visibility of insights: Help maintain simple trackers and status updates, so key issues and action items are visible and can be followed through across teams.
• Complete tasks assigned by mentor & manager on time: Deliver work reliably and on schedule, with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.

Job requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above; recent graduates are welcome to apply.
• Academic background in HCI / Interaction Design / Psychology / Behavioral Science (or related fields), through coursework or projects.
• Strong communication in English; Mandarin Chinese or Russian is a strong plus.
• Strong learning ability, adaptable and responsible at work, good communication skills, attention to detail.
• Work location: Remote, but candidates who can intern on-site in UAE (Dubai & Abu Dhabi) are strongly preferred.

Bonus points

• A strong portfolio (case study or write-up) showing how you turned messy feedback into clear insights and practical recommendations.
• Interest in fintech/crypto and ability to work in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.
• Comfortable coordinating in a distributed setup across time zones, and enjoys teamwork.

This is a 6-month internship with structured mentorship and periodic performance reviews. High performers who consistently deliver strong research support and clear outputs will be strongly considered for extended opportunities or longer-term roles based on business needs and performance.
