Tiqmo is seeking for someone who will act as the business owner for the Value-Added Services (VAS) portfolio (Market place, Musaned, Sadad, Int. Mobile top-up & others), working closely with marketing, product, operations, finance, compliance, customer support, and external partners to grow adoption and improve commercial outcomes.
Primary Duties and Key Responsibilities
Business Ownership and Growth:
- Own the end-to-end commercial performance of the VAS portfolio.
- Develop and execute the VAS growth strategy in line with company revenue and customer engagement objectives.
- Identify opportunities to increase usage, transactions, revenue, and customer retention through VAS.
- Build annual, quarterly, and monthly plans for VAS campaigns, growth initiatives, and partner activations.
- Monitor market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor offerings to refine the VAS strategy
Revenue and Profitability Management:
- Track VAS transaction volumes, revenue, margins, conversion, repeat usage, and profitability by service line.
- Optimize pricing, commissions, rebates, and promotional economics to improve commercial performance.
- Recommend tactical initiatives to improve revenue contribution of each VAS category.
- Build business cases for new VAS launches and commercial enhancements.
Partner and Vendor Management:
- Manage relationships with existing VAS providers and commercial partners.
- Negotiate commercials, service levels, promotional support, and settlement arrangements with partners.
- Monitor partner uptime, success rates, customer experience, and operational performance.
- Identify and onboard new providers or aggregators to expand the VAS portfolio.
Campaigns and Go-to-Market:
- Work with Marketing to design and execute campaigns that drive awareness and adoption of VAS products.
- Prepare campaign briefs, business rationale, target audience definitions, and expected commercial outcomes.
- Review campaign performance and recommend follow-up actions based on results.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Work with Product and Tech teams to improve customer journey, service discoverability, and feature enhancements for VAS.
- Coordinate with Compliance and Finance on approvals, commercials, reporting, and governance requirements.
- Work with Customer Support to address customer pain points, complaints, or recurring service issues.
- Ensure internal stakeholders remain aligned on priorities, launches, and service performance.
Reporting and Performance Management:
- Build and maintain dashboards for all VAS categories.
- Provide regular reporting on transaction volumes, active users, revenue, margins, and campaign performance.
- Present business reviews and recommendations to senior management.
- Drive corrective actions where performance is below target.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- 5–8+ years of experience in fintech, payments, telecom, digital commerce, vouchers, bill payments, or related service businesses.
- Strong commercial and business development mindset.
- Experience managing partnerships, revenue lines, and product growth.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data and convert insights into actions.
- Good understanding of digital customer journeys, payment ecosystems, and promotional campaigns.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in the GCC fintech/payments space is an advantage.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
