JOB OVERVIEW/PURPOSE

The Vehicle Delivery Specialist ensures an exceptional customer experience by providing comprehensive vehicle delivery services. This job is responsible for familiarising customers with the features and functions of their newly purchased vehicles, ensuring their understanding of vehicle operations, and aiding the customer throughout the delivery process

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure adherence to the applicable Distributor Retail Standards.

Perform thorough and professional vehicle delivery presentations to customers, ensuring they have a clear understanding of the features, technologies, and controls of their new vehicles.

Welcome customers upon vehicle delivery, create a warm and inviting environment, and establish rapport to address any questions or concerns they may have.

Demonstrate key vehicle features, systems, and technologies to customers, ensuring they are comfortable operating their new vehicle.

Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to vehicle deliveries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with dealership and manufacturer guidelines.

Maintain accurate records of all deliveries, including vehicle condition reports, customer feedback, and delivery times.

Report any issues or discrepancies related to vehicle deliveries to the appropriate departments for resolution.

Provide ongoing customer support after delivery, addressing any post-delivery inquiries, clarifications, or issues promptly and professionally.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle models, features, and technologies, staying informed about the latest developments in the automotive industry.

Collaborate with sales, service, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the customer journey.

Provide support and assistance to team members as needed to achieve departmental goals and enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Conduct pre-delivery inspections and ensure that all vehicles are in pristine condition before customer handover, coordinating with the service department if necessary.

Address and resolve any post-delivery issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

Collect and analyse customer feedback to identify areas for improvement in the delivery process.

Collect and document customer feedback regarding their delivery experience, identifying opportunities for improvement and sharing insights with relevant stakeholders.

Uphold company values throughout business practices and utilise sound judgment in decision making.

Any other additional duties as may be required by management based on needs of the business.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

A minimum of 1-3 years working experience in a similar role.

Proven experience in vehicle delivery, customer service, or a related role, preferably within the automotive industry.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATION

High School Diploma.

Additional automotive training or certification is a plus
