About the Role

We're seeking a talented Vertical Video Producer to lead the creation of addictive short-form shows optimized for mobile-first viewing. You'll be at the heart of our production team, conceptualizing, scripting, shooting, and editing vertical content that hooks viewers in seconds. This role is perfect for a creative storyteller with a knack for fast-paced, episodic narratives that blend drama, humor, or intriguethink bite-sized series that keep audiences scrolling for more. Based in our Dubai hub, you'll collaborate with XR experts, writers, and directors to infuse tech-forward elements like AR/VR enhancements into traditional short-form storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

- Conceptualize and develop original short-form video series tailored for vertical platforms (e.g., DramaBox-style dramas, thrillers, or rom-coms), ensuring content is engaging, culturally resonant, and optimized for algorithms.

- Oversee the full production lifecycle: from ideation and scripting to filming, editing, and post-production, delivering high-quality episodes under tight timelines.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teamsincluding writers, actors, XR technicians, and marketersto integrate innovative tech like augmented reality overlays or interactive elements.

- Analyze performance metrics (views, engagement, retention) to iterate on content strategies and refine future productions for maximum impact.

- Scout trends in short-form video across global platforms, adapting formats to align with audience behaviors and emerging tech.

- Manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships to ensure efficient, scalable production workflows.

- Contribute to brand partnerships, creating custom short-form content that drives growth for clients in Web3, entertainment, and beyond.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of experience in video production, with a proven track record in short-form vertical content (e.g., TikTok series, Instagram Reels, or platform-specific shows like DramaBox).

- Strong storytelling skills, with expertise in scripting episodic content that builds tension, emotion, or humor in under 60 seconds per clip.

- Proficiency in production tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar, plus familiarity with mobile-first editing techniques (e.g., text overlays, quick cuts, sound design).

- Understanding of XR technologies (AR/VR/MR) and how they can enhance short-form narrativesa plus if you've worked in immersive media.

- Excellent project management abilities, with experience handling fast-turnaround productions in dynamic environments.

- A portfolio showcasing vertical video work that demonstrates creativity, audience engagement, and technical polish.

- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- Based in or willing to relocate to Dubai; fluent in English
