IBRAMAR Shipping Group, established in 1979 by Mr. Ibrahim Moomen, is a prominent leader in the shipping industry with a strong focus on maritime transport. Initially founded in Germany, the company began by specializing in the affreightment of cargo such as cement, scrap, and steel to Egypt. Since expanding to the Arab Republic of Egypt in 1985, IBRAMAR has grown to operate seven branches in strategic Egyptian ports, including Alexandria, Cairo, and Port Said. With a robust national network, IBRAMAR facilitates the efficient passage of approximately 60 vessels monthly via the Suez Canal and within Egyptian ports.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set performance goals and deadlines aligned with company vision and communicate them clearly to staff.

- Organize workflow and ensure employees understand their duties and delegated tasks.

- Monitor employee productivity, provide constructive feedback, and coaching.

- Handle complaints and resolve problems effectively.

- Maintain accurate timekeeping and personnel records.

- Act as a communication link between upper management and employees.

- Prepare and submit performance reports.

- Recommend rewards and promotions based on performance.

- Hire and train new employees.

- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies, taking disciplinary action when necessary.

Specific Duties:

- Coordinate and update all parties concerned with vessel movements (principals/customers, Port Authority, government authorities).

- Respond to customer inquiries regarding their vessels.

- Prepare agency forms and required documentation.

- Organize crew changes and spare parts delivery, including transport, hotel bookings, and immigration clearance.

- Arrange pilots, tugs, linesmen, and berthing assignments for vessels.

- Board vessels in port when required and liaise with Immigration and Customs to ensure documentation readiness for arrivals and departures.

- Communicate effectively in English with individuals from diverse backgrounds and nationalities.

- Demonstrate strong written communication, computer literacy, and accurate data entry skills.

Job Requirements:

- Proven experience as a supervisor or in a similar role.

- Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines in the shipping field.

- Ability to adapt to a variety of job descriptions.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organizational and leadership abilities.

- Proficiency in MS Office.

- Diploma/Certificate in first-line management or a related field (BSc/BA in management is an advantage).

- Very good command of English.

- Excellent computer skills.

- Advanced time management skills.
