LOOKING FOR VET ASSISTANT (Junior Vet)

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinary Assistant located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Veterinary Assistant will support veterinarians and other clinic staff in providing excellent care to small animals. Daily tasks include assisting with medical treatments, handling and monitoring animals, educating clients on pet care, maintaining cleanliness in the clinic, and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. Collaboration with team members and dedication to the well-being of animals is essential to this role.

Qualifications

• Animal Care and Pet Care skills, including handling, observing, and monitoring small animals
• Client Education and Customer Service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and provide support and advice
• Basic knowledge of Veterinary Medicine and the ability to assist veterinarians during procedures
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Compassion, attention to detail, and a commitment to animal welfare
• Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or related field is highly desirable
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional veterinary-related certifications are a plus
