Job Description

Job Purpose

Lead enterprise-wide Business Excellence to enhance execution, governance, and operational performance across Aldar.

Drive implementation of international standards and manage all ISO certifications across the Group.

Ensure continuous improvement and transformation towards a globally leading organization.

Establish and embed robust frameworks across quality, processes, services, and policies as a second line of defence

Roles And Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

Define and drive the Business Excellence strategy aligned with Group objectives

Establish and continuously enhance the Aldar Business Excellence Model (e.g., EFQM)

Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives and drive stakeholder alignment

Build and manage team across Business Excellence function

Quality Management and Continuous Improvement

Management of ISO certifications and implementation of all required operational requirements to achieve ISO standards (including ISO 9001)

Manage local and regional recognition / certification (e.g., EFQM Model assessment) and act as a focal point of contact for all communications with external parties related to business excellence awards locally, regionally, and internationally

Implement and maintain a centralized QMS to establish internal controls and identify critical operational improvements

Conduct periodic performance evaluation of Aldar QMS elements and report maturity and implementation status to the Management Committee

Perform QMS maturity assessments across business units and ensure alignment with Aldar quality frameworks and standards

Drive and embed a culture of quality, excellence, and continuous improvement across the organization

Business Process Management (BPM)

Develop and continuously enhance end-to-end value chains to ensure visibility of processes, interdependencies, and value delivery

Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, standardization, and value creation

Ensure existing processes reflect operational changes and also align with current practices

Develop and implement new processes to standardize operations across the Group

Drive process modelling, documentation, and digitization through BPM platforms (e.g., ARIS)

Ensure alignment of processes with DOA, controls, and business objectives

Service Management

Oversee development and governance of service catalogues, service cards, and SLAs

Drive service digitization through digital platforms (e.g., JIRA, ManageEngine)

Monitor service performance and drive continuous service improvement

Policy Management

Lead development and governance of Group-wide policies and frameworks

Ensure alignment, consistency, and strong internal controls across entities

Drive structured policy approvals, implementation, and awareness across the Group

Operational Review

Conduct operational compliance reviews as 2nd line of defence to identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies

Establish and manage control frameworks (Control Library, ORCM)

Monitor implementation of remediation actions and controls for gaps identified during operational reviews

Assess and optimize approval workflows within systems to enhance efficiency and reduce turnaround time (TAT)

Translate identified gaps into strategic initiatives, defining quick wins and long-term actions to drive closure and value realization

Report insights and remediation status to Management Committee

Related Year Of Experience

Min of 10+ years experience in business excellence domain or similar function

YOE IN MANAGERIAL POSITION

Min of 2+ years in a related managerial position

Field Of Experience

Real estate experience, Corporate Governance

Technical And Interpersonal Skills

Lean Green Belt certification

Six Sigma/ISO certification, EFQM and any relevant quality certification

Enterprise BPM tool Administrator capability (ARIS preferred)

Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor's degree in engineering /or business management, project management, or in a related fieldA Master's degree in engineering /or business administration will be advantageous
