About the Role

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an enterprise risk professional to own and elevate the organization's end-to-end Risk Management Framework, Business Continuity Management (BCM) System, and Crisis Management framework. You'll set the risk governance agenda, embed risk thinking into day-to-day decision-making, and ensure enterprise risks are identified, assessed, mitigated, monitored, and reported at the highest levels. A core part of the remit is to design, roll out, and test Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) to strengthen resilience, while ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations (including NCEMA requirements). You'll work closely with executive stakeholders and board-level committees, translating complex risk insights into clear, commercial, decision-ready reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead ERM, BCM & Crisis Frameworks: Own the design, documentation, communication, and implementation of enterprise-wide ERM, BCM, and Crisis Management frameworks, ensuring they remain fit-for-purpose and scalable.
• Risk Governance, Policy & Reporting: Maintain and refresh risk and continuity policies, run annual policy reviews for executive approval, and deliver high-impact quarterly risk dashboards and board-ready reporting.
• Enterprise Risk Identification & Mitigation: Surface significant and emerging risks, drive executive visibility and escalation, and partner with business units to build and track mitigation plans and control improvements.
• Business Continuity Readiness: Scope and execute annual BCP testing programs, strengthen organizational preparedness, and support leaders in building resilient operating models.
• Regulatory Compliance (NCEMA): Ensure the risk and continuity frameworks incorporate regulatory requirements and evidence compliance through robust governance and testing.
• Embed Risk Culture: Champion risk awareness across functions and rolesclearly linking risk discipline to commercial outcomes, strategic delivery, and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Engineering; professional certification in Enterprise Risk Management and Business Continuity Management Systems preferred.

Required Skills

• Depth in Enterprise Risk: 10+ years experience in ERM within large organizations (sector exposure such as real estate, construction, financial services, or consulting is advantageous).
• Proven Leadership: At least 2+ years leading a corporate risk function, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and challenge constructively at executive level.
• Framework Design & Implementation Expertise: Demonstrated success building and rolling out ERM/BCM frameworks, including BCP testing, scenario analysis, and stress testing.
• Regulatory & Governance Strength: Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, including NCEMA expectations, plus experience translating compliance into practical operating controls.
• Strong Executive Communication: Ability to analyze complex risk data and convert it into clear insights, dashboards, and board-level narratives that drive action.

Pay range and compensation package

Competitive executive-level compensation package (AED 50,000 60,000 per month). Comprehensive benefits package plus relocation support.
