About the Role

Future Pipe Industries is seeking an experienced regional executive to lead operations governance across its MENA GeoMarkets. As VP Operations, you will serve as the primary performance authority between GeoMarket Managers and the COO, driving operational excellence, financial discipline, and strategic alignment across UAE, KSA, Oman, Qatar, Egypt, and Morocco.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regional Performance Governance: Hold GeoMarket Managers accountable for Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost performance. Require corrective action plans where performance deviates from targets and promote replication of best practices across countries.
  • Operational Excellence Deployment: Drive consistent deployment of Group operational excellence standards, digital initiatives, and performance management systems across GeoMarkets. Ensure measurable improvement in productivity, reliability, and cost performance.
  • Financial Governance & Discipline: Review and challenge regional budgets and forecasts. Consolidate regional performance visibility and ensure corrective actions are implemented when deviations occur. Escalate material risks or variances to the COO as per governance.
  • Risk & Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to Group standards, policies, and RHQ regulatory obligations. Maintain auditable regional management processes with risks identified, assessed, and mitigation plans executed.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment & Escalation: Act as escalation point for cross-border operational or commercial conflicts. Align Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, HSSE, P&C, Legal, Planning, and Projects.
  • HSSE Governance: Ensure GeoMarkets maintain a strong safety culture and full compliance with HSSE policies. Require investigation and closure of incidents and monitor preventive actions.
  • People & Leadership Development: Evaluate performance of GeoMarket Managers. Drive succession planning, leadership development, and talent reviews across the region.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent
  • 10+ years of senior leadership experience in multi-site operations
  • Demonstrated track record in performance governance and financial review
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or above preferred)
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); Arabic language proficiency is an advantage
