Vice President Structured Solutions & FX
Role Overview
A regional financial institution is seeking an experienced investment professional to lead the development and management of structured investment solutions and FX offerings within its wealth management platform.
The role will focus on designing and delivering innovative investment solutions for affluent and high-net-worth clients, working closely with trading desks, treasury partners, and external providers to bring structured investment ideas to market.
The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding the bank's investment product capabilities and supporting the continued growth of its wealth management business.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Development
- Develop and execute the strategy for structured investment solutions and FX products within the wealth management platform.
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of structured products and FX solutions from idea generation and structuring through to launch and ongoing management.
- Work closely with internal trading desks and external counterparties to structure innovative investment solutions for clients.
- Identify new opportunities across derivatives-based investment strategies, options structures, and FX-linked products.
Product Management
- Establish and maintain a scalable operating model for the development and management of structured investment solutions.
- Ensure robust product governance, documentation, and suitability frameworks.
- Monitor product performance and continuously refine the offering based on market conditions and client demand.
- Manage the lifecycle of products including launch, monitoring, and ongoing optimisation.
Market & Client Insight
- Monitor global market developments and competitor activity to identify emerging opportunities.
- Partner with distribution and advisory teams to support the positioning and promotion of structured investment solutions.
- Use client insights and market data to refine product strategies and enhance the overall offering.
Risk & Governance
- Ensure all products are developed and managed in line with regulatory requirements and internal governance frameworks.
- Maintain oversight of product risk including pricing methodologies and derivatives exposures.
- Implement clear documentation and suitability processes to support client transparency and risk management.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across treasury, trading, investment advisory, and wealth distribution teams.
- Build relationships with external structuring partners and product providers.
- Support senior leadership in shaping the broader investment products strategy.
Candidate Profile
The bank is seeking a technically strong investment professional with deep experience in structured products and foreign exchange solutions within private banking or wealth management environments.
Experience
- Extensive experience in structured investment solutions and FX derivatives.
- Strong knowledge of options strategies, pricing methodologies, and risk management concepts.
- Experience working closely with trading desks, structuring teams, or treasury functions.
- Track record of developing and managing structured investment products.
Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative capability.
- Ability to translate complex investment strategies into client-ready solutions.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
- CFA or similar professional qualification preferred.
