Responsibilities
- Review raw material to determine the shot list
- Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques
- Maintaining continuity while moving shots according to scene value
- Trimming footage and putting together the rough project Inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects
- Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence
- Creating the final cut for broadcasting.
- Edit video content for various platforms (social media, website, marketing campaigns)
- Assemble raw footage into a cohesive and engaging story
- Ensure videos are optimized for different platforms and devices
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to understand project requirements
- Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing trends and technologies
- Maintain a high level of quality and consistency in all video content
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in film, media production, or a related field preferred
- Experience: Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably in a fast-paced environment
- Skills: Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) Strong understanding of video editing principles and techniques Ability to create visually appealing and engaging videos
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation Experience with sound design and mixing
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your video editing skill
- Business level proficiency in English and Arabic (equivalent to B2 or above in CEFR) - to maintain our Arabic channels
