Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at Colada. The Video Editor will work closely with content creators, marketers, and designers to edit and assemble video content that highlights meals, recipes, and food-related stories. Day-to-day tasks include organizing raw footage, selecting and trimming clips, adding transitions and effects, synchronizing audio, and preparing final exports for multiple platforms. The role also involves basic color grading, motion graphics integration, and collaborating on video concepts that support campaigns and brand initiatives. The Video Editor will be responsible for meeting deadlines, maintaining brand consistency, and optimizing videos for digital and social channels.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for digital and social media content.
- Ability to perform Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visual style.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics to create engaging titles, overlays, and visual elements.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools).
- Understanding of formats, codecs, aspect ratios, and best practices for web and social video.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant experience in food, lifestyle, or consumer digital content is a plus.
- Portfolio or reel demonstrating video editing and motion graphics work.
