Job Description

Summary:

We are seeking a highly capable Video Editor and Animator with 3-years of professional to support a fast-moving tech entertainment brand operating across digital, social, and experiential platforms. This role is hands-on and execution-focused. The successful candidate will be responsible for editing, animating, and delivering video content that is platform-native, performance-aware, and brand-consistent, supporting marketing campaigns, product launches, and always-on content streams. This is not a purely creative or conceptual role; it requires strong execution skills, speed, and the ability to translate briefs into engaging, scalable video outputs.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing & Production

  • Edit and finalize high-quality video content for:
  • Social media platforms (short-form, vertical, platform-native formats)
  • Websites and landing pages
  • Paid digital campaigns
  • Offline and experiential marketing assets where required
  • Optimize videos for different formats, resolutions, and delivery channels.

Animation & Motion Design

  • Create animations, motion graphics, and visual effects to enhance storytelling and reinforce clear calls to action.
  • Apply animation strategically, aligned with campaign objectives rather than over-styling.

Creative Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Content teams, as well as external agencies, to:
  • Interpret briefs accurately
  • Propose video- and motion-led solutions
  • Execute content aligned with brand guidelines and campaign goals

Content Execution & Asset Management

  • Support:
  • Channel-native content ideation, execution, and delivery (social platforms, website, app, digital touchpoints)
  • Ad-hoc content requests from Marketing and supporting departments
  • Maintain structured file management, version control, and naming conventions to ensure efficient workflows and asset reuse.

Feedback & Iteration

  • Integrate feedback from managers and stakeholders efficiently, balancing creative quality with timelines and commercial constraints.
  • Ensure final outputs meet quality, brand, and performance standards.

Job Requirements:

Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in video editing software such as:
  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Final Cut Pro
  • Strong working knowledge of animation and motion design tools such as:
  • Adobe After Effects
  • Blender or equivalent 3D / motion tools
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end video production workflows.

Creative & Execution Skills

  • Strong visual storytelling ability with attention to pacing, rhythm, and narrative clarity.
  • Practical knowledge of:
  • Color grading
  • Sound design
  • Video codecs, formats, and platform specifications
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Content Production and/or Animation and/or Graphic Design, and or related field.
  • Proven experience in video editing and animation is essential.

Professional Skills:

  • Excellent storytelling skills through video.
  • Strong knowledge of color grading, sound design, and video formats.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and special effects
  • Solid understanding of promotional and social-first motion graphics.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, feedback-driven marketing environment.
  • Collaborative, solution-oriented mindset with strong brand alignment awareness.
  • Preferred Experience:

    • 3 years of previous work within a digital marketing, agency or media production environment.
    • Understanding of audience engagement and viral content strategies.
    • As positive and value-building collaborate attitude with colleagues in marketing and content creation to ensure alignment with brand goals.
