We're a fast-growing tech education brand publishing 2-3 long-form YouTube videos per week, scaling to daily. We need a second editor to double our output.
You'll work in-person in Dubai, cutting videos that educate and entertain. This is YouTube editing, retention matters, pacing matters, every second counts.
What You'll Do
- Edit 2-3 long-form YouTube videos per week (10-25 minutes each)
- Work from raw footage: talking head, screen recordings, whiteboard sessions
- Create engaging intros, add motion graphics, lower thirds, callouts, screen annotations
- Cut dead space and make every second count
- Sync with b-roll, stock footage, and screen recordings
- Deliver YouTube-optimized exports (1080p/4K)
- Collaborate on thumbnail concepts and suggest titles/hooks
- 48-hour turnaround standard, 24-hour for timely topics
You Are
- A YouTube native who understands retention graphs, pacing, and what makes tech content work
- Fast, 48-hour turnarounds are normal for you
- Detail-oriented with clean audio, colour grading, transitions, and text placement
- Proactive, you suggest creative improvements, not just execute
- Based in Dubai or near Dubai
Requirements
- 2+ years editing long-form YouTube content
- Portfolio showing tech, education, or talking-head content
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve (required), After Effects (preferred)
- Understanding of YouTube analytics: retention curves, CTR, watch time
- Strong audio editing and motion graphics skills
- Based in Dubai or willing to relocate
