Job Description

Our Medical department is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support daily front-office and patient communication operations. This is a fully remote role with set hours and a collaborative healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service with professional phone etiquette
  • Answer high-volume inbound calls from patients
  • Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
  • Manage fax inbox, including Rx refill requests
  • Perform insurance verification for patients
  • Assist with insurance prior authorizations and related documentation
  • Accurately document and route information as needed

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proven experience handling high call volumes
  • Experience with fax inbox management and prescription refills
  • Hands-on experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations, - understanding of insurance (HMO vs PPO)
  • EClinicalWorks (ECW) experience Is a must
  • English Level: C1 (required)
  • Medical background is a must (pharmacy or healthcare setting highly valued)

Work Schedule

  • Monday Friday (Saturday & Sunday off)
  • 8:00 AM 5:00 PM CST(4:00 PM 1:00 AM Cairo Time)
